Good morning, Spiders. University of Richmond alums Paul and Anne-Marie Queally have donated $10 million to support Spider Athletics. This lead gift will help build a new facility dedicated to men’s and women’s lacrosse. Construction will begin soon and is projected to open in the summer of 2029!

🔼 Great Eight. Eight Spider student-athletes were named to the 2026 CSC Academic All-District At Large Team. The honor recognizes the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. Representing Richmond was field hockey's Clara Larripa, women's golf's Katie Magner, men's golf's Jack LaPiana and Parker Moellinger, women's lacrosse's Rileigh Meyer, as well as men's lacrosse's Gavin Creo, Brayden Penafeather-Stevenson and Joe Sheridan.

All-Time History Book. Men’s golfer Jack LaPiana posted the 10th-lowest season stroke average in program history in 2025-26.

🔼 Foes to Face. The men’s basketball team released its Atlantic 10 opponents for the 2026-27 season. Richmond will have home-and-home games with Davidson, George Washington, Rhode Island, St. Bonaventure, and VCU. The men will host Duquesne, Fordham, Loyola Chicago, and Saint Louis at the Robins Center and visit Dayton, George Mason, La Salle, and Saint Joseph's. The women’s basketball team also released its A-10 opponents. Richmond will play an 18-game conference schedule that includes home-and-away matchups with Duquesne, Davidson, VCU, Saint Joseph's and St. Bonaventure.
