🔼 One Goal. The soccer team tied Duquesne 1-1 on Thursday. Kingsley Hughes scored her third goal of the season. The Spiders had five shots and two shots on goal. Goalkeeper Veronica Rrapi had four saves. Isabel Seifert had one save. Richmond is now 5-0-5 overall and 0-0-2 in Atlantic 10 play. The Spiders have extended their unbeaten streak to 10 games this season and 13 games dating back to last season, both program records.

Tomorrow’s Game. The #19 football team takes on Furman tomorrow! If the Spiders win, this would be their first win over Furman since 1977. Richmond leads the all-time series 15-10.

The Spiders rank # nationally and first in the Patriot League in sacks, recording 14 through their first four games.

🔼 Run It. Cross country freshman Ella Solorzano was named the Atlantic 10 Women’s Cross Country Rookie Performer of the Week. She led the Spiders at the Adidas XC Challenge. Solorzano completed the 5k in 17:56.0, finishing 32nd overall. Her performance helped Richmond place fourth in the 16-team field with 143 points. It was the second time she's led the Spiders in two races this season.
