Good morning. The men’s basketball team had its first annual Greg Beckwith Alumni Weekend where they wore throwback uniforms. These uniforms were inspired by those worn during the 1985-86 season. You can bid on Richmond’s uniforms from Saturday’s game, with proceeds benefiting the Greg Beckwith Foundation.

🔼 Ruling the Court. The women’s basketball team beat Dayton 83-72. Maggie Doogan recorded her seventh career double-double with 26 points and 11 rebounds. The Spiders shot 49.2% from the field. The team is now 17-5 overall and 8-1 in Atlantic 10 Conference play. 🏀 Read more about the victory.

🔼 Weekend Wins. The men’s tennis team started the weekend with a 4-2 win over Army. The Spiders had two doubles wins and three singles wins. The team then defeated Marist 4-0 on Sunday, winning two doubles matches and three singles.

🔼 Match Point. The women’s tennis team beat Navy 4-3 for its first victory of the season. The Spiders won two doubles matches and three singles. 🎾 See each match score.

🕷️ ONE BIG THING

So Wise. Track & field competed at the Brant Tolsma Invitational, and Molly Wise set a new school record. On day one, Wise won the long jump with a personal best mark of 6.15 meters. The previous record was 6.13 meters, set by Alicia Dawson last season. On day two, Gabrielle Cummings finished fifth with a personal-best time in the 200 meters. The Spiders also competed at the VMI Invitational. The 4×400 meter relay team finished first out of 11 teams.
