🔼 Victory! The baseball team beat William & Mary 12-11 on Tuesday. The Spiders scored four runs in both the fourth and seventh innings, as well as three runs in the eighth and one in the second to secure the win. Dylan Winebrenner hit his 13th home run of the season and led the team with four RBIs. Michael Elko went 4-for-5 at the plate and had two RBIs. Evan Wilson earned the win on the mound.

🔼 At the Top. The women’s golf team is in first place after two round at the 2026 Atlantic 10 Championship. Richmond has a team score of 610 (+34). Maya Beasley is in first place with a score of 145 (+1). Olivia Wilkie follows in third place, Hannah Lydic is in fourth and Katie Magner and Addie Doroh are tied for seventh.

🔼 Part 2. Baseball player Evan Wilson was named the Atlantic 10 Conference Under Armour Baseball Rookie of the Week. This marks his second time earning a weekly honor. Wilson put together a .500 batting average over four games. He had eight hits, including four home runs, eight RBIs, scored six runs, walked once and had a stolen base.

🔼 Championship Time! The men’s and women’s tennis teams are set for the Atlantic 10 Championships! The women earned the No. 3 seed. They will play on Thursday in the quarterfinal match against either No. 6 Rhode Island or No. 11 George Mason. The men earned the No. 5 seed. They will face No. 4 George Mason in the quarterfinal round on Thursday. Cole Brashear was recently named the Atlantic 10 Player of the Week, going a perfect 2-0 in singles and 3-0 in doubles.

Men’s lacrosse players Aidan O’Neil and Hunter Smith have been named Tewaaraton Award Top 25 nominees. The Tewaaraton Award annually honors the most outstanding players in college lacrosse. Richmond is one of only seven programs in the country with multiple Tewaaraton Award nominees. O’Neil ranks third nationally in assists per game (2.91), and Smith leads a Richmond defense that ranks second nationally in scoring defense (7.91)

Alumni Weekend. Field hockey wrapped up its spring season with a 3-0 win against Longwood Saturday as past Spiders flooded back to Crenshaw Field as part of the program’s alumni weekend, which also included an event at Bar West.
