Good morning. On Saturday, the football team played with special helmet decals for Student-Athlete Mental Health Week, honoring and remembering our own Gus Lee, who we all lost far too soon in 2018. We love and miss you, Gus.

📈 STOCK UP

🔼 On a Roll. The football team won its fourth straight game of the season against North Carolina A&T 20-17. Zach Palmer-Smith ran for a career-high 200 yards and a touchdown on 25 carries. Andrew King rushed for 100 yards for the first time in his career and a touchdown. This was the first time since 2015 that two Spiders rushed for over 100 yards in a single game. Brandon Peskin nailed two field goals at 33 and 20 yards. 🏈 Read more about the win.

🔼 Shutout! The field hockey team beat La Salle 4-0 Friday night. The Spiders are still unbeaten in conference play, 3-0. Clara Larripa x2, Margaret Scheurer and Alexa Derr found the back of the net. It was Scheuerer’s first collegiate goal. 🏑 Read more about the victory.

🔼 Lead the Way. The women’s golf team competed in the Evie Odom Invitational, and Maya Beasley led the team. Beasley finished 11th individually with a score of 213 (+3). This is the second-best finish of her college career.
