🔼 Weekend on the Field. The field hockey team had two games this past weekend. The Spiders took on Saint Louis University on Friday. Clara Larripa scored in the first quarter, but Richmond fell 2-1. The women flipped the script and shut out Ball State 5-0 on Sunday. Larripa tallied a season-high four goals. Lainey Nichols scored the final goal. The Spiders had 19 shots, and 13 were on goal.

🔼 Champs! Women’s tennis players Lara Bakhaya and Sofia Barbulescu capture the A-10 Masters Qualifier Doubles Championship, earning a spot in the ITA Conference Masters, Nov. 6–9 in San Diego, Calif.

🔼 Tie. The women’s soccer team faced Rhode Island and tied 0-0. The Spiders had 12 shots, and five were on goal. Goalkeeper Veronica Rrapi had five saves.

🔼 Strong Offensive Effort. The football team reached the end zone on its first three drives and had a 100-yard rusher and 100-yard receiver. The Spiders racked up 494 yards of total offense without ever punting, but fell to Bucknell 33-28. Isaiah Dawson, Andrew King and Ja’Vion Griffin made it to the end zone. Ashten Snelsire had 16 completions for 307 yards and four touchdowns.

Legend on Campus. The women’s basketball team had a college basketball analyst and former player who works for ESPN, Big Ten Network, CBS, FOX and Westwood One help to sharpen their voices off the court.

🔼 Run It. The cross country team competed in the Louisville Classic on Saturday. The women finished in 11th out of 31 teams, and the men finished 20th out of 32 teams. Phoebe Rubio led the women with a time of 18:00.3 in the 5k. Henry Haase finished 42nd, leading the men with a time of 24:37.8 in the 8k.
