🔼 Great Run. The Atlantic 10 Conference named cross country athlete Hallie Muniz the Under Armour Performer of the Week. Muniz led the Spiders at the Virginia Invitational with a 5k time of 17:40.0. 👟 Here’s more about her run.

The field hockey team had two players earn Atlantic 10 Conference weekly honors. Amanda Cimillo was named the Defensive Player of the Week, and Amy Stripling was named the Rookie of the Week. This is the second consecutive week that Stripling has earned the honor. She scored the winning goal against Georgetown and Old Dominion. Cimillo only allowed two goals this past weekend and made seven saves.

Strong Start. The women’s tennis team opened its season at the ITA Hall of Fame Classic. Sofia Barbulescu had an undefeated singles run, going 3-0. Lara Bakhaya went 2-1 in singles. Barbulescu and Lainey O’Neil went 2-1 in doubles. Overall, the Spiders had seven singles wins and three doubles wins. 🎾 See each match result.
