🔼 Our Faves. The Atlantic 10 Conference named Richmond the preseason favorite. The program earned 216 points and 10 first-place votes. Addie Budnik and Maggie Doogan earned Preseason All-Conference First Team. Rachel Ullstrom earned Second Team honors. 🏀 Read more about the rankings.

Set, Match, Dub. The men’s and women’s tennis teams competed in the River City Open, and one Spider finished undefeated in both singles and doubles play.

In football’s win over North Carolina A&T, Zach Palmer-Smith was a tremendous help. The junior running back picked up a season and career-high 200 yards and his team-leading seventh touchdown of the year. His seven touchdowns place him third in the CAA. With this performance, Palmer-Smith earned CAA Football Co-Offensive Player of the Week.

🕷️ ONE BIG THING

Preseason Ranks. The men’s basketball team was tabbed 7th in the Atlantic 10 Preseason Poll. Richmond is the defending A-10 regular season champions. The Spiders received 230 points. This is the fifth time in the last six seasons the program has been picked seventh or better. 🏀 Here’s more about the ranking.
