🔼 On Watch. Football player Camden Byrd was selected to the Buck Buchanan Award Preseason Watch List. The award recognizes the most outstanding defensive player in NCAA Division I FCS. Byrd has played in 38 games for the Spiders. Last season, he recorded 34 tackles, including 11.5 tackles for loss for 83 yards.

🔼 New Spiders. The track and field and cross country team announced the addition of 19 outstanding student-athletes to the 2026-27 roster. The incoming class includes 14 women and five men from seven states, including state champions, all-state performers, Nike Cross Country National qualifiers and championship relay contributors. Collectively, the group has accumulated more than 100 state championship top-10 finishes and numerous individual and team titles.
