📈 STOCK UP

🔼 New Plan. The Spiders fell short 31-14 in the game against Hampton with two freshmen quarterbacks on the field. Redshirt freshman Ashten Snelsire made his first career start, and true freshman Camden Coleman took over soon after. Coleman had 224 yards, 24 completions, and two touchdowns. The first came in the third quarter when he connected with Brooks Heagarty for 7 yards and in the fourth quarter when he threw 25 yards to Nick DeGennaro. Angelo Rankin Jr. had his second interception of his career on a third down. 🏈 Read more about the game here.

🔼 Strong Second. Soccer clinched its first A10 win against St. Bonaventure 2-1. The Spiders were down by one in the first half and grabbed the lead in the second after scoring two goals for the win. Molly Wierman scored the first goal, and five minutes later, Hannah Antonick scored the game-winner.

What the Future Holds. Spiders football is ready to face an old opponent, Furman. The teams will play each other in 2026 (home) and 2027 (away). Their first battle was in 1992, and Richmond is on a high note.

🕷️ ONE BIG THING

Moving Up. The women’s cross country team keeps moving up in the rankings at each meet they compete at. This past weekend, cross country ran at the Joe Piane Notre Dame Invitational, and the women snagged a second-place finish. The Spiders ran a 5k and finished with 123 points, just eight points behind Akron in first place. The fastest Spider was Madison Trippett, with a time of 17:28.7 to put her in sixth place overall. 🏃 See more of the women’s times here.
