🔼 Champion Talk. The Spiders pulled out a 27-26 victory over William & Mary to become the CAA Champions. The team also took the all-time series lead of 65-64-5 against the Tribe. Brooks Heagarty, Kyle Wickersham, and Connor Deveney scored touchdowns for the Spiders and the defense turned aside the Tribe’s attempt at a game-winning two-point conversion with no time left on the clock! 🔼 Ryan Rules. The women’s basketball team won its third game of the season against American with a 76-44 final score. The leader for the Spiders was Siobhan Ryan, with 20 points. Addie Budnik was so close to a double-double with her 10 rebounds and eight points. This win put head coach Aaron Roussell to No. 7 in the program record book for all-time wins at Richmond with 68. 🏀 Get more info about the game here.

Next Up. The Spiders earned an at-large bid to the 2023 FCS Playoffs Sunday afternoon, the 13^th FCS Playoffs appearance in program history.

Top 5. The swim and dive team took to the pool for a three-day meet against seven other teams and took a fourth-place finish. The women ended with 483 points. Alexa Connors placed fifth in the 1650 free with a time of 17:29.85, and Caroline Weldon placed fifth in the 200 back at 2:01.27. 🏊 Here are more details about the meet.
