🔼 The Master. Women’s tennis player Sofia Barbulescu won the Atlantic 10 Masters Qualifier Singles tournament this past weekend. She will now compete in the Conference Masters on Nov. 7. Barbulescu had three singles wins and contributed to three doubles wins. 🎾 Here are the match scores.

🔼 Solid Stats. The men’s tennis team racked up wins at the Elon Invitational. The Spiders had nine singles wins and four doubles wins. 🎾 See the match scores here.

Another one! Carson Baez was named the Atlantic 10 Men’s Golf Rookie of the Week for the second straight week. He recently finished 15th in the Furman Intercollegiate. Baez posted a 65 (-6) third-round score, which matched the fifth-lowest round in program history.

Repeat Rewards. The men’s golf team just had Carson Baez earn his second A-10 Rookie of the Week honor. This is the second straight season a Spider has won multiple A-10 Rookie of the Week honors.

Weekly Honor. The Coastal Athletic Association named Camden Coleman Football Offensive Player of the Week. Coleman led the Spiders to their sixth straight win on Saturday. He was 15-of-16 passing for 278 yards and four touchdowns. He ran a touchdown in himself in the first quarter. His 322.2 pass efficiency rating and 93.8% completion percentage are the best in the FCS this season. 🏈  Read more about Coleman.
