Good morning. Happy homecoming weekend! Today starts all the fun activities with the Spider Day Festival tonight at 6 p.m. on Millhiser Green. Tomorrow, head out to the football game against Campbell at 3:30 p.m. And Sunday, attend field hockey’s last regular season game at noon.

🔼 On Cloud Nine. The women’s basketball team just landed at their highest spot in the Atlantic 10 poll since 2012-13. The Spiders are tabbed to finish fourth in the conference, and two of our athletes have even placed on Preseason Teams. Addie Budnik was named to the Preseason First Team, and Maggie Doogan to the Preseason Second Team. 🏀 Here’s more info about the team and rankings.

🔼 Out for Bait. The swim and dive team has a big pool to fill, with the Atlantic 10 preseason poll tabbing them to finish second in the conference. Can they do it? Of course. The team finished second last season in the A-10 Championships. The Spiders have a total of 16 A-10 Championships, and 12 are under head coach Matt Barany. 🏊  Read more about the swim and dive team here.

Handful of Medals. Speaking of swim and dive's excellent season last year, let’s take a look at how many medals were won at the A-10 Championships. The team earned five medals in total.
