📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Champions!! The women's lacrosse team beat No. 3 Davidson in the semi-finals of the Atlantic 10 Championships. The Spiders won 16-5, and 12 different Spiders scored. Charlotte Edwards led the team with four points on three goals and one assist. 

The women went on to beat UMass in the championship game. This is the program’s seventh A-10 title and the conference’s automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament. Grace Muldoon led the team with four goals and two assists. Next up, the Spiders will play 8-seed Penn on Friday at 7 p.m. in Philadelphia in the First Round of the NCAA Women’s Lacrosse Championships. 🥍 Here’s more about the NCAA Championships.

🔼 Medals Galore. The track and field team competed at the Atlantic 10 Outdoor Championships and won four medals on day one. Molly Wise won gold in the long jump, and Alicia Dawson took bronze. Elizabeth Stockman won silver in the 3,000m steeplechase. Laurel Kurtz took silver in the 10,000m. On day two, the Spiders finished in second place with 116 points and brought home seven medals. Stockman ran a school, meet and conference record in the 1500m race with a time of 4:17.00

🕷️ ONE BIG THING

Trio of Honors. The Atlantic 10 Conference named three Spiders to its Indoor Track and Field All-Academic team. Alicia Dawson, Kyra Keurentjes and Madison Trippett were all named to the All-Academic honors. To be nominated, these athletes had a GPA of 3.0 for their entire academic career and how they performed throughout the season. 👟 Read more about the women here.
