🔼 Teach Me how to Doogan. Everybody wants to be her because she just earned two honors in one week. Maggie Doogan was named Vibrant Thanksgiving Classic Most Valuable Player, A-10 Player of the Week, and selected to the Anne Meyers Drysdale Women’s National Players of the Week list. Doogan averaged 20.7 ppg, 6.7 rpg, and 1.7 apg and had a 59.5 FG%, 62.5 3FG% and 72.7 FT%. 🏀 Read more about the MVP honor here.

🔼 We Meet Again. The men’s basketball team is taking on Wichita State for the second time ever. The Spiders look to gain their first win in the series. Although, this game is going to look a little bit different since DeLonnie Hunt is out due to injury. Hunt underwent surgery to repair a fractured left wrist and will be out anywhere from six to eight weeks.

Next Stop. The football team is headed to the second round of the NCAA FCS Football Playoffs! The Spiders are headed up north to face a No. 5 ranked team.

Award Accepted. Wait, soccer isn’t totally over? Nope, because Spiders soccer just got two big awards. The team earned the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award for the first time since 2015. Molly Wierman was also selected to the Academic All-District Women’s Soccer Team. Wierman started all 18 matches, led the team with four goals, and racked up 10 points for the year. ⚽️ Read more about Wierman and the award here.
