🔼 Streak! The women’s lacrosse team won its fourth straight game of the season. The Spiders beat George Mason 18-8 on Wednesday. Alexis Morton reached 200 career points and now ranks No. 10 in program history in points. Richmond is 6-2 overall and 3-0 in A-10 play.

🔼 Finale. The women’s basketball team faced Nebraska in the NCAA First Four. The Spiders fell 75-56 at Cameron Indoor Stadium. Richmond closes the year 26-8 overall and earned its third consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance. Maggie Doogan led the team with 24 points and 10 rebounds for her 21st double-double of the season.

🔼 Part 2. Men’s tennis players Davis Wiley and Nathan Germino earned Atlantic 10 weekly honors for a second straight week. Wiley was named the Player of the Week, and Germino earned Rookie of the Week. Wiley had a pair of doubles wins last week, going undefeated in completed matches while competing at the No. 1 position in both singles and doubles. Germino earned a straight-set victory in his singles appearance.

🤔 SPIDERS TRIVIA

Anotha’ Honor. Men’s lacrosse player Connor Knight was named to the USILA Team of the Week.

This is the # consecutive week a Spider has earned the award.

National Award. Women’s basketball player Maggie Doogan was named an honorable mention selection to the 2025-26 U.S. Basketball Writers Association Women’s All-America Team. Doogan becomes one of 25 players nationally recognized by the USBWA and represents the Atlantic 10 Conference as its Player of the Year. Doogan was also named one of the finalists for the 2026 WBCA NCAA Division I Coaches’ All-America Team.
