Nail Biter. The men’s basketball team hosted Rhode Island on Wednesday. The teams were tied 33-33 at halftime. Rhode Island made a shot with 2.3 seconds remaining to secure the 69-68 win.

Aiden Argabright led the team with ## points.

Watch List. Women’s basketball player Maggie Doogan was named to the Becky Hammon Player of the Year Award midseason watch list. Doogan is one of 15 players nationally selected to the midseason list. The award honors the top mid-major player in Division I women’s basketball. Doogan is averaging 23.2 points, 8.6 rebounds and 4.6 assists per game.
