🔼 Victory! The women’s basketball team handed Columbia its first loss of the season on Saturday in a 77-67 win. Alicia Newell had a career-high 16 points. Maggie Doogan surpassed 1,500 career points, becoming the ninth Spiders to reach the milestone. She finished with 16 points, nine rebounds and four assists. The team shot 46.3% from the field and 46.2% from behind the arc. 🏀 Read more about the win.

🔼 Home Turf. The football team played its last home game of the 2025 season against No. 25/RV Lafayette on Saturday. The Spiders fell 34-28 to drop to 6-5 on the season. Kyle Wickersham. Ja’Vion Griffin, Aziz Foster-Powell and Andreas Hill made it to the end zone.

New Spiders. The women’s tennis team signed two new athletes to its 2026 roster. Marta Ferrer Solé is a rising junior from Barcelona, Spain.

Victoria Mann is rated No. ## in the Tennis Recruiting Class of 2026.

Big Finish. The cross country team competed in the NCAA Southeast Regional Championships on Friday. The women finished 17th out of 36 teams and were the top Atlantic 10 Conference team in the region. The men finished 26th. Hallie Muniz led the women with a time of 20:54.0. Henry Haase led the men with a time of 32:23.7. 👟  See each athlete’s time.
