📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Five-Peat. The men won their fifth straight home game after taking down Charlotte 64-56. Dji Bailey worked his magic in the last minutes of the game, where he made a pair of free throws, got a steal on one end, and a layup on the other, putting Richmond at a 9-point lead with 1:41 on the clock. Jordan King led the team with 14 points, Bailey and Isaiah Bigelow had 12, and Neal Quinn had 11. 🏀 Here’s more info about the victory.

🔼 Blown Away. The women’s basketball team extinguished the Lady Flames in a high-scoring 99-73 victory. The team is now 9-2 overall and is undefeated at home, 5-0. Two athletes shot over 20. Maggie Doogan led with 22 points, and Siobhan Ryan had 21. Doogan has hit double digits in 10 straight games now. 🏀 Read more about the win here.

Final 3. The RVA Sports Awards named three Spiders— women’s lacrosse coach Anne Harrington, women’s basketball Addie Budnik and a football player— as finalists.

Peas in a Pod. Three Richmond football players were named All-Americans by Phil Steele/Draftscoout.com— offensive lineman Ryan Coll, linebacker Tristan Wheeler and punter Aaron Trusler. This honor is the second of the postseason for all three athletes. On the All-CAA list of honors, 13 Spiders were named to the five different teams. 🏈 See who the 13 athletes are on the All-CAA list here.
