🔼 Near the Top. The field hockey team was picked to finish second in the Atlantic 10 Conference, and Clara Larripa and Valen Luna Paratore were selected for the Atlantic 10 Field Hockey Preseason All-Conference Team. Larripa finished last season with a team-leading 32 points on 12 goals and eight assists in 19 starts. Luna Paratore was second on the team with 25 points on 12 goals and one assist in 19 starts. 🏑 Learn more about the players.

🔼 Coming Up. The football team takes on No. 14/15 Lehigh on Saturday at noon. There are 32 new players on the Spiders roster, including 26 freshmen. Richmond is 64-70-7 all-time in season openers. This is the first time since 2005 that the Spiders start the season with a conference opponent. 🏈 See the full game notes.

Freshman Morgane Zinn was named the Atlantic 10 Conference Rookie of the Week. This is the first weekly honor of her career. She made her mark with the decisive strike in Richmond’s 1-0 road win at Wofford on Sunday.
