🔼 Lucky 7. The football team won its seventh game in a row. The Spiders beat Towson 35-24 at Homecoming. The program is undefeated, 5-0, in the Coastal Athletic Association. Richmond forced Towson into four turnovers and recorded seven sacks. Landon Ellis caught two touchdown passes. Jabril Hayes recorded his second pick-six of the season. 🏈  Here’s more about the victory.

🔼 Finale. The field hockey team beat VCU 1-0 in its final regular-season game. The Spiders are the three seed for the Atlantic 10 Conference Championship. They will face two-seed No. 5 Saint Joseph’s on Nov. 7 at 2 p.m. ET. Richmond’s victory was its first over the Rams since 2019. 🔼 Meet Results. The swim and dive team competed in the Penn & ECU Dual Meet. On day one, Tess Weatherhead placed fifth in both the 3m and 1m dive. On day two, Melissa Nwakalor took first in the 50 free. Gabbie Primiano was first in the 200 breast.

Race Time. The cross country team raced at the Atlantic 10 Championship. The women finished 7th, and the men finished 12th. Laurel Kurtz earned First Team All-Atlantic 10. She led the women with an eighth-place finish in a personal-best time of 20:54.6. Brady Barber led the men with a personal-best time of 25:07.1. 👟 See the other athletes’ times.
