🔼 New Spider. The women’s basketball team signed Harriet Ford to the 2026-27 roster. Ford is a 6’3” post from Australia. She is the first international player to join the squad since 2023-24. Last season, she played at Duquesne where she averaged 6.9 rebounds per game, 6.6 points and shot 46.2 percent from the field. She posted 10 double-figure scoring performances and matched her season high with 15 points twice, while pulling down a season-best 15 rebounds at Dayton.

Two women’s lacrosse players earned Atlantic 10 honors. Abby Francioli and Juliana Stanley were named to the A-10 All-Tournament Team. Francioli collected 10 saves and four ground balls against Davidson. Stanley paced the Spider offense with four points on three goals and one assits.
