🔼 Off The Pitch. Two Richmond women’s soccer players spent their summers off the pitch and interning to gain real-world experience. Senior Kiley Fitzgerald interned with Ernst & Young to learn more about accounting, while fellow senior Anna Garcia spent time as a medical assistant at Cardiology Physicians P.A. to support patient care across a variety of medical specialties.

🔼 Making The Grade. Academic accolades are in for Richmond men’s and women’s tennis! Eight members of the women’s team earned ITA Scholar-Athlete honors, while the entire team was named a Division I ITA All-Academic Team. The men’s team also earned Division I ITA All-Academic Team recognition, while two individual players were named Scholar-Athletes.

Going Pro. Richmond baseball alum Aaron Whitley had an incredible first half of the season! Whitley landed on the MLB Draft League All-First Half Team after posting 34 stolen bases (earning him the all-time first-half and single-season record!), 33 runs, 32 hits, and batting .276 through 29 games.

🎉 TRIVIA ANSWER

Answer: Jordan Jaffe finished the season with 79 hits. Brady O’Brien was a close second with 74 hits and Aaron Whitley rounded out the top three with 71.
