🔼 How Many?? The baseball team had a huge win over Princeton on Monday. The Spiders downed the Tigers 24-8. Jason Shockley, RJ Rickabaugh and Jake Topolski all hit home runs. Matthew Anderson got his first collegiate victory after pitching two and a third of an inning in relief. ⚾️ Read about the victory here. 

🔼 Advantage Richmond. The women’s tennis team took the dub against Drake in Monday’s meet. The Spiders won 4-1 and are now 4-3 overall this season. The women won the doubles point and three singles matches. 🎾 See the match scores here.

🔼 Awards! The Atlantic 10 awarded Chris Mooney, Jordan King, Dji Bailey and Neal Quinn end-of-season Atlantic 10 awards. Mooney received A-10 Coach of the Year. King earned A-10 Co-Player of the Year, First Team All-Conference and an All-Academic selection. Bailey shared the A-10’s Most Improved Player Award. Quinn was named Second Team All-Conference. 🏀 Read more about the awards here.

🔼 Consistency is Key. The men’s lacrosse team excelled at the start and stayed consistent throughout its win over Bucknell. The Spiders won 17-5 and are now 5-2 this season. The men had 31 shots and 11 assists. Fifteen different Spiders recorded points. Luke Grayum led the team with four goals and one assist. 🥍 See who else scored here.

🕷️ ONE BIG THING

Final Dive. The women’s swim and dive team had Lola Dragosavac compete at the NCAA Diving Zones. Dragosavac finished 59th in the 1-meter completion in a pool of 79 competitors. She scored a 211.4. Dragosavac holds the No. 9 all-time program record in the event with the 265.5 score she received back in January. 🏊 Here’s more about Dragosavac.
