🔼 Series Sweep. The baseball team welcomed George Washington this past weekend. The Spiders won game one 8-5 on Friday. Sean Scanlon and Dylan Windbrenner each hit homers. Bijan Anvar took the win on the mound. On Saturday, Evan Wilson hit a walk-off grand slam in the 11th inning to capture a 10-6 Senior Day win. This marked his ninth homer of the season and first collegiate grand slam. Michael Elko and RJ Johnson Jr. also hit homers. Richmond won game three 13-1 on Sunday in seven innings. Three home runs were hit by the Spiders. Ryan Recio went 3-for-4 at the plate with two RBIs.

🤔 SPIDERS TRIVIA

Close Game. The men’s lacrosse team faced Duke in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. The Spiders fell 14-12 on Saturday. Gavin Creo led the Spiders with four goals. Connor Knight had 12 saves in goal.

There was a record-setting crowd of #,### fans— both the highest-attended Richmond lacrosse game and the highest-attended first round game in NCAA history.

🔼 So Many Titles. Richmond Athletics Director John P. Hardt is so proud of the spring teams. The Spiders have captured six conference titles in the last month.
