🔼 Run Rule! The baseball team won its eighth straight game of the season. The Spiders beat Longwood 12-2 in seven innings. Jack Arcamone hit a grand slam, and Michael Elko hit a three-run home run. Gerry Peacock only allowed one unearned run, a walk over three and a third of an inning with three strikeouts. ⚾️ Read more about the victory.

🔼 First! The women’s golf team finished first in the Chris Banister Golf Classic. The Spiders had an overall score of 923 (+59). Maya Beasley led the women with a score of 230 (+14), tying for third place individually. ⛳️ See each golfer’s score.

After two standout performances, Max Merklinger has been named the Atlantic 10 Men’s Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week. He tallied a career-high four points against Mercyhurst before following up that performance with a new career-high six points against UMBC.

🕷️ ONE BIG THING

4th Straight. The men’s tennis team had three big wins. The Spiders dominated Randolph-Macon in a 7-0 win. Next, the men beat Bucknell 4-3. Richmond mounted a comeback, securing wins in the final three singles matches to take the victory. The men won their fourth straight match against Citadel 7-0 on Tuesday.
