🔼 Wheely Good. Tristan Wheeler was named the Coastal Athletic Association Football Defensive Player of the Week for doing so many things in just one game. He recorded a team-high 12 tackles, 10 of which were solo, 1.5 tackles for loss, a sack, a forced fumble, and a fumble recovery, all during the homecoming game against Campbell. Wheeler moved into second place all-time on the Spiders career tackles list and leads all active players at all levels of the NCAA in career tackles, with 455. 🏈 Read more about Wheeler’s stats here.

🔼 Leading Lydic. The women’s golf team finished in sixth place in its last fall event. Hannah Lydic led the Spiders at the Mercer Invitational, hitting a 215 (-1). She tied for second place, and this was her second runner-up finish in four events this fall. The team will pick back up with more play in February. ⛳️ See the other player’s scores here.  

🤔 SPIDERS TRIVIA

Triple Digits. Tristan Wheeler currently ranks second in the CAA with 89 tackles so far this season and is on pace to get into the triple-digit mark, which wouldn’t be his first time.
