🔼 Got the Dub. The football team used an explosive offense to defeat VMI 38-14. This marked coach Russ Huesman’s 54th career victory at Richmond, moving into the sole possession of second place on the program’s all-time wins list. The Spiders had 541 total yards. Aziz Foster-Powell, Isaiah Dawson, Andrew King and Kyle Wickersham all made it to the end zone. 🏈 Read more about the win.

🔼 Victory! The field hockey team shutout Lock Haven on Friday 8-0. This was the A-10 Conference win of the season and the first time the team tallied eight goals since 2009. Amy Stripling, Alexa Derr (2), Lainey Nichols, Remy Phan, Clara Larripa, Olivia Eusanio and Charly Faherty each scored.

🔼 3 Rounds. The women’s golf team wrapped up the Mason Rudolph Championship in 13th place. The Spiders had an overall score of 901 (+49). Katie Magner led the team with an individual score of 223 (+10) in 44th place. ⛳️ Here are the golfer’s scores.

🔼 First Fall. The soccer team fell in its first Atlantic 10 Conference game of the season. Richmond had three shots against Duquesne on Sunday. Veronica Rrapi recorded a career-high 12 saves. The Spiders fell 3-0.

🤔 SPIDERS TRIVIA

Lots of Running. The football team had 353 yards on the ground out of the 541 total yards.

Jamaal Brown tallied a career-high ### yards on 14 carries.

Top Finishes. The men’s and women’s cross country teams each brought home a win at the Coastal Carolina Chanticleer Challenge. Andy Condon and Lily Strebel led Richmond. Condon took second place in the men’s 8k while Strebel finished first in the women’s 5k. Ten Spiders finished in the top 10. 👟 See each athlete’s time.
