📈 STOCK UP

🔼 First Place Finish. The women’s golf team finished in first place at the RiverTowne Invitational. The Spiders matched the program record for the lowest single-round score with a 283 (-5) in Round 1. Overall, the women shot 869 (+5) and smashed the program record for the lowest tournament score. 🔼 Watch Him. The U.S. Basketball Writers Association named Jordan King to the 2023-24 Oscar Robertson Trophy and All-America Watch List. He is one of 40 men’s college basketball players to be named. 🏀  Read about the award and King here.

🔼 Spotlight! In the spotlight today for Black History Month is former men’s basketball player Nick Sherod. Sherod played from 2016-2022 and led Richmond to an A-10 championship in his final season. He had over 1,400 career points and is one of the top 25 scorers in program history. 🏀 See where Sherod is now.

Scholar Students. The athletics department recognized 108 Spider student-athletes who held a GPA of 3.5 or above. There were athletes representing from each sport. The swim and dive team won the women’s academic team award for the third year in a row. The men’s cross country team won the men’s academic team award. 📚 See all the scholar athletes here.
