📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Ranked! The women’s lacrosse team just got ranked No. 19 in the Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association Top 25 preseason national rankings. Last season, the women went 17-4 and won the Atlantic 10 conference title. The Spiders also made history with their first-ever program appearance in the second round of the NCAA tournament. 🥍 Read more about the lacrosse team here.

🔼 Senior Day. The swimmers dominated as the Spiders took on JMU for its senior day meet. The swim team had eight 1st place finishes and finished with a score of 133-129. Melissa Nwakalor had three victories in the 50 free, 100 free and 200 medley relay. Meagan Carson had two victories in the 1000 and 500 free. Caroline Weldon did so as well in the 100 and 200 back. 🏊 See the swimmer’s times here.

🔼 Madonna’s Breakthrough. Inside Lacrosse named Lance Madonna to the Preseason All-American Honorable Mention. Madonna scored 29 goals and had 17 assists last season, earning him Atlantic 10 Midfielder of the Year in 2023. 🥍 Here’s more about Madonna.

Climbing the AP Poll. The men’s basketball team just got some votes in the AP Top 25 Men’s College Basketball Poll. They are currently tied for 36th place.

All Praise to the King. The Atlantic 10 named Jordan King the A-10 Player of the Week. This is the second time in the last three weeks King has earned the award. In the George Washington and Dayton wins, King averaged 24.5 points, shot 49% from the field and 50% from the three-point range. 🏀 See what else King is up to here.
