🔼 Trio Triumphs. Three Spiders won major awards when the Atlantic 10 conference announced its end-of-the-year honors. Dalton Young and Lance Madonna repeated as Offensive Player and Midfielder of the Year. Zach Vigue was named Co-Goalkeeper of the Year. The trio all earned All-Atlantic 10 First Team. Jake Kapp, Hunter Smith and Jack Fabean took home Second Team honors. Gavin Creo and Charlie Packard were named to the Atlantic 10 All-Rookie Team. Fabean, Young and Kapp earned a spot on the All-Academic Team as well. 🥍 Read about their performances this season here.

🔼 Semifinal Win. The men’s lacrosse team beat High Point 11-10 in game two of the Atlantic 10 Championships semifinal. Richmond had 47 shots, and Lance Madonna led the team with four goals. Lukas Olsson clinched the win for the Spiders, scoring the game-winning goal. Zach Vigue made 10 saves in the cage and tied a career-high with six ground balls. Next up, the men will play No. 1 Saint Joseph’s in the Atlantic 10 Conference Championship game on Saturday at 1 p.m. ET. 🥍 Read more about the win here.

🔼 Yearly Award. The Atlantic 10 released its major end-of-year awards, and All-Conference teams and six Spiders earned honors. Grace Muldoon was named Midfielder of the Year and is on the All-Conference First-Team. Colleen Quinn made it on the All-Conference Second-Team. Abby Francioli claimed a spot on the All-Rookie Team. Double the Honors. The Atlantic 10 Conference named Elizabeth Stockman Track Performer of the Week and Molly Wise Rookie of the Week. Stockman broke another program record in the Penn Relays in the 1500m with a time of 4:15.80. Wise jumped a personal bet in the long jump at 6.00m at the Virginia High Performance Meet. 👟 Read more about the women here.
