🔼 Leading Time. A coach is just one leader when it comes to sports. On the field, court, or in the pool… and athletes take over the leadership role. To prepare for their season, members of the Spider Leadership Initiative tackled a ropes course to learn ways to work with one another.

🔼 Draw Two. Another tie puts Richmond soccer at 1-2-2 so far in the season. The Spiders played to a 0-0 draw against Radford last night in a tight match that finished with Richmond getting 13 shots and two shots on goal on the night. Caitlin Sutton and Molly Wierman both managed three shots, and two of Sutton’s were on the goal.

Over A Century. This weekend, the Spiders open their 140th season of football at home. Fun fact: The team has never lost a home opener at Robins Stadium.

Court Ready. The verdict is in… Alex Louin is the final addition to the women’s basketball staff. Louin will be an assistant coach and manage operations too. Her experience dates back to 2014 when she played four years at Villanova and played professionally with Luxembourg’s BBX Grengewald Hueschert and the Torpan Pojat in the Finnish league. 🏀 Read about Louin's past coaching career here.
