🔼 Mark the Calendar! The men’s basketball team released its 2026-27 Atlantic 10 schedule! The Spiders will play eight nationally televised games, including four national TV appearances at the Robins Center. The men will play nine conference games at home and nine on the road, with three games selected for CBS Sports Network and five scheduled for USA Network.
🔼 New Roles. Richmond has promoted Mark Stanton to Senior Associate Director of Athletics & Chief of Staff and Andy McPherson to Senior Associate Athletics Director for Leadership, Performance, and Student-Athlete Development. As Chief of Staff, Stanton will serve as chief compliance officer as well as senior advisor to Athletics Director John P. Hardt and help coordinate the department's strategic and operational priorities. McPherson will oversee Spider Performance, Richmond Athletics' student-athlete success program that provides resources designed to promote athletic, academic, personal, and professional excellence.

The women’s tennis team competed at Navy’s Blue and Gold Invite. The Spiders collected 15 singles wins and five doubles victories. Beatriz Guerra won all four singles victories in Flight C. Lainey O’Neil collected all her wins in Flight D singles. Madeline Kroupetski paired with O’Neil to win Flight B doubles action.
