🔼 Undefeated. The men’s basketball team beat William & Mary 90-86 on Tuesday night. The team is undefeated (3-0) so far this season. This marks the first time the program has had a 3-0 start since the 2020-21 season. The Spiders made 35 free throws and recorded the most rebounds (53) in their 21 seasons under Chris Mooney. The 53 rebounds are also the most by Richmond in a game since 2003. Jonathan Beagle recorded a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds. Senior defensive end Donovan Hoilette was named the Patriot League Defensive Player of the Week. The Spiders beat Georgetown 31-24 on Saturday. Hoilette recorded 3.5 quarterback sacks as part of Richmond’s season-high eight sacks. He was also responsible for a strip fumble on his final sack of the day, as well as a pass breakup and quarterback hurry.

🤔 SPIDERS TRIVIA

Court Report. Women’s tennis players wrapped up the fall season at the ITA Conference Masters. Sofia Barbulecu and Lara Bakhaya competed in the event.

The duo went #-# overall this fall season.

The Making of Doogan. Women’s basketball player Maggie Doogan is in her final season of her college career. Throughout her career, Doogan’s mom, Chrissie, has been there for it all. Her mom was a standout basketball player herself. Chrissie is in Philadelphia’s Big Five Hall of Fame, has been a college coach and an athletic director. 🏀 Read about the mother and daughter bond that boosted Maggie to be a successful athlete.
