🔼 First Dub. The men’s lacrosse team opened its season against Robert Morris on Saturday and won 17-7. This marks the team’s first season-opening win since 2017. Joe Sheridan led the offense in goals with four. Lucas Littlejohn recorded a hat trick and had a team-high 10 shots.

🔼 Water Works. The swim and dive team competed at the Cavalier Invitational on Friday. Presley Baber finished fifth in the 100 breast prelims. Kaitlyn Bauer took ninth in the 200 free. See the other finishing times.

🔼 Top 8. The track and field team competed in the 2026 IC4A Indoor Track and Field Championships. Cooper Groat and Eric Scully earned All-East honors by finishing in the top eight in their races. Groat finished third in the 1,000m. Scully took seventh in the mile.

🤔 SPIDERS TRIVIA

Ranked Game. The women’s lacrosse team opened its season against No. 23 Penn State on Saturday. The Spiders had a close game, but fell 10-9.

🕷️ ONE BIG THING

Big Win. The women’s basketball team handed George Mason its first Atlantic 10 loss of the season on Saturday. The Spiders won 71-57 at home. Maggie Doogan recorded her 100th career game in double figures and finished with 20 points. Rachel Ullstrom had 18 points and surpassed 1,500 career points. Richmond shot 50% from the field and 40.9% from deep.
