📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Double Up. The women’s basketball team beat Loyola Chicago by almost double! The Spiders won 85-45. Ally Sweeney had a career-high 19 points. The team is now 16-5 overall and 7-1 in Atlantic 10 Conference play. The Spiders are 4-0 against the Ramblers in program history. 🏀 Read about the victory.

🔼 State Award. Three field hockey athletes were named to the 2024 VaSID Field Hockey University Division All-State squads. Valen Luna Paratore collected Rookie of the Year honors and joined Clara Larripa on the First Team. Alexa Derr earned Second Team ccolades. 🏑 Learn about each athlete.

🔼 Almost LAX Time. Spider men’s and women’s lacrosse each had players named to USA Lacrosse Preseason All-America Teams. For the women, Grace Muldoon landed on the Third Team. For the men, Zach Vigue earned a spot on the Honorable Mention team.

Adding Skill. The soccer team welcomes two new athletes to its 2025 roster. Audrey Brown is a goalkeeper who has transferred from Illinois State. Brown played two years at Illinois State and started a total of 28 games. Erika Schneider is a defender who played at Pitt. In her freshman year at Pitt, she played in four matches. ⚽️  Here’s more about the new Spiders.
