🔼 Home Run! The baseball team beat James Madison 9-5 on Wednesday. The Spiders had a total of 10 hits. Ryan Recio launched a 2-run home run, and Dylan Winebrenner hit his second home run of the season. Jackson Hinchliffe secured the win on the mound after pitching 3.1 innings, allowing two hits and striking out one batter.

🔼 Career Game. The women’s lacrosse team cruised past William & Mary 16-11 on Wednesday. Meghan Rode surpassed 100 career draw controls in the victory. Alexis Morton tied a career-high with eight points on five goals and three assists. The Spiders are now 2-1 this season.

🔼 Incomplete Comeback. The men’s basketball team fell to Davidson 65-63, on Wednesday. The Spiders stormed back from a 16-point deficit to take a lead before the Wildcats got the win. Aiden Argabright led the team with 16 points. AJ Lopez followed with 15 points.

🤔 SPIDERS TRIVIA

Overtime. The women’s basketball team took George Washington into overtime on Wednesday. The Spiders fell in the hard-fought game 57-54.

Maggie Doogan led the team with ## points.

🕷️ ONE BIG THING

Championships. The swim and dive team started competition at the Atlantic 10 Championships. On day one, the Spiders medaled in both swimming events, earning gold in the 200 medley relay and silver in the 800 free relay. The 200 medley relay team broke the school record that was set in 2023. On day two, 12 swimmers and one diver advanced to finals and UR had four podium finishes.
