🔼 Big Win. The women’s basketball team beat Duquesne 86-55 on Wednesday. The Spiders held Duquesne to only six points in the first quarter. Richmond’s bench scored 40 points and the Spiders forced a season-high 29 turnovers. The women extend their home conference win streak to 29 straight. Rachel Ullstrom led the team with 19 points.

Preseason Honors. The men’s lacrosse team had three Spiders named Inside Lacrosse Preseason All-Americans. Hunter Smith was named to the Third Team. Joe Sheridan earned Honorable Mention.

Watch Him! Women’s basketball head coach Aaron Roussell has been named to the midseason watch list for the 2026 Kathy Delaney-Smith Coach of the Year Award. The honor recognizes the top head coaches in Division I women’s basketball competing in mid-major conferences. Roussell is one of 10 coaches nationally selected for the award. He was the inaugural winner during the 2024-25 season.
