The men's lacrosse team won the Atlantic 10 Championship.

🔼 CHAMPIONS! The men’s lacrosse team beat Saint Joseph’s 8-6 in the Atlantic 10 Championship game to secure its second straight Atlantic 10 tournament title! The Spiders earned the No. 4 seed in the 2026 NCAA Men’s Lacrosse Championship, and will host Duke Saturday at 7:30 PM in the first NCAA Tournament lacrosse game at Robins Stadium. Ticket information will be available Monday on RichmondSpiders.com. Help the team build on its success by making a gift to support the program today. 

🔼 On the Field. The baseball team faced Davidson in this past weekend’s series. The Spiders fell in game one 6-5, but came back to win 8-3 in game two. Dylan Winebrenner led the team with two hits and three RBIs. Joey Giordano earned the win on the mound after throwing 5.0 innings and striking out six batters. The Spiders secured the series win on Sunday in a 10-9 victory. Ryan Recio hit a home run. Chris Schaller led the team with three hits and four runs. Winebrenner had four RBIs.

🔼 Wrapped Up. The women’s lacrosse team had a tight game against Davidson on Friday. The No. 1-seeded Spiders fell to No. 4-seeded Davidson 11-10 in the Atlantic 10 semifinal. Juliana Stanley led the Spiders with four points on three goals and one assist. Richmond finished the season at 13-4. 

🤔 SPIDERS TRIVIA

Fought Hard. The men’s tennis wrapped up its 2026 season in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. The Spiders fell to No. 13 South Carolina on Friday 4-0. The appearance marked Richmond's first trip to the NCAA Tournament since 2006. The men had a historic season as the first No. 5 seed since 2012 to capture the Atlantic 10 Championship title.

Richmond finished its season with a ##-# overall record.

🔼 Event Wins. The track and field team competed in the Atlantic 10 Championships on Saturday and Sunday. On day one, the Molly Wise captured a gold golf medal in the long jump with a mark of 6.10m, winning the event for the third straight year. On day two, Richmond finished in sixth place. Brooke Reif claimed gold in the 1,500m and Hallie Muniz captured silver. Caroline Donohoe finished first in the 800m.
