The swim and dive team fell to Villanova 165-135, but Melissa Nwakalor helped the Spiders with two gold medal finishes. Nwakalor won the 50 free at 22.52 and made a NIC B cut. She also won the 100 free at 51.77. She was also on the 200 medley relay team and 200 free relay team, which finished first.

National Honor. The U.S. Basketball Writers Association named guard Rachel Ullstrom the National Player of the Week. This is the first national honor of her career and the first for the Spiders since Nov. 28, 2023. Ullstrom boasts the eighth-best three-point percentage in the nation at 46.7%. 🏀 Learn more about Ullstrom’s performance.
