Good morning, Spiders. The women’s golf team earned mulitple Atlantic 10 honors. Maya Beasley was named the Atlantic 10 Women’s Golfer of the Year. Calle Barlow was the A-10 Women’s Golf Coach of the Year. Beasley, Addie Doroh, Hannah Lydic and Katie Magner were named to the A-10 All-Conference team.

🔼 New Spider. The men’s basketball team added Jaden Shoultz to its 2026-27 roster. Shoultz is a 6’4” guard from DeMatha High School is Hyattsville, Maryland. He led DeMatha to a 21-10 record against a national schedule and a semifinal berth in the Maryland Private School State Tournament. He averaged eight points per game while shooting nearly 60 percent from inside the three-point arc.

🔼 Round 2. The women’s golf team has played two rounds at the NCAA Regionals. Richmond has a score of 604 (+44) and is in 11th place. Hannah Lydic leads the team in 36th place individually. She has a score of 147 (+7).

The men’s lacrosse team had six players named to USA Lacrosse All-American honors. Hunter Smith and Jack Pilling earned First Team honors, while Joe Sheridan was named a Second Team selection. Gavin Creo collected Third Team recognition, and Aidan O'Neil along with Brayden Penafeather-Stevenson were tabbed as Honorable Mentions.

🔼 Staff Updates. The women’s basketball team added two new staff members for the upcoming 2026-27 season. Will Lanier and Sacha Santimano will be associate head coaches. They were both previously coaches at Vermont. Lanier played a key role in player development. Santimano was the assistant coach and recruiting coordinator at Marshall for two seasons before.
