🔼 New Spiders. The men’s basketball team has a trio of new athletes joining the program in 2025-26. Aiden Argabright is a 5’11” guard rated as the No. 12 prospect in Virginia's Class of 2025. Donovan Richardson is a 6’6” guard ranked in the top 200 national Class of 2025. Will Harper is a 6’4” guard and a top-50 national shooting guard in the Class of 2025. 🏀 Read about the signees.

🔼 Welcome! The women’s basketball team has four new athletes joining the 2025-26 roster. Rayne Wright is a First Team All-Region, All-State and All-Metro honoree. Aneisha Scott surpassed 1,000 points in her high school career. Shaneka Campbell was named the Rose Classic Super Jam MVP this year. Ava Persichetti averaged 20.3 points, 6.5 rebounds and 3.8 assists per game in 2023-24. 🏀 Here’s more about the new Spiders.

🔼 Duo Signees. The women’s golf team welcomes Addie Doroh and Avery McLaughlin to its 2025-26 roster! Doroh won the Virginia State Golf Association Junior Girls title in 2021 and finished as runner-up in both 2022 and 2024. McLaughlin placed second at the Missouri Junior Amateur Championship last summer. ⛳️ Here’s more about the women.

The season isn’t over yet, and running back Zach Palmer-Smith has rushed for more than 1,000 yards. He is the first Spider to do this since 2015. Palmer-Smith had his most rushing yards against N.C. A&T with 200, one of his four games with 100 or more yards this season. Overall, he has 1,146 rushing yards and 42 receiving yards.
