🔼 Welcome! The women’s basketball team has a new head coach. Alisa Kresge has many years of experience under her belt. She has led Vermont to the NCAA Tournament three times in the last four seasons. She spent a total of eight seasons at Vermont and compiled a 145-89 overall record. There will be an official welcome event for Coach Kresge. Details on the event will be announced at a later date.

🔼 Diamond Wins. The baseball team started its weekend with a 4-2 win against George Mason on Friday. Dylan Winebrenner and Chris Schaller led the team with two hits each. Chase Topolski earned the win on the mound with three strikeouts in seven innings. The men won game two 11-3. RJ Johnson Jr. and Schaller each hit homers. Schaller led the team with four RBIs. The men fell in game three 7-5 on Sunday but still claimed the series win.

🔼 Huge Win. The No. 4 men’s lacrosse team beat St. Bonaventure 23-7 on Saturday. The Spiders' 23 goals marked the third-highest single-game output in program history, as Richmond saw production across the roster with 15 different players recording points. Aidan O’Neil led the way with six points. Joe Sheridan had a career-high five goals.

🔼 Home Dubs. The No. 23 women’s lacrosse team beat George Washington 19-6 at home on Saturday. This marks the ninth straight win for the Spiders. Meghan Rode set a program single-game record with 18 draw controls. Alexis Morton and Anya Wardle led the team with five points each.

🔼 Court Report. The men’s tennis team downed Howard 4-0 on Friday. The Spiders won the doubles point and three singles matches. The women’s tennis team had a tight win over Liberty. Richmond won 4-3 after winning the doubles point and three singles matches. The women celebrated their Senior Day with a victory. The women continued their winning ways on Saturday against Hampton, 4-0. The men’s tennis team also beat Hampton on Saturday, 6-1.

Doing Their Best. The track and field team had multiple athletes set personal-best marks at the Duke Invitational. Brooke Reif finished 10th with a personal best time in the women’s 1500m. William Marhold also had a personal-best time in the men’s 1500m. Molly Wise took fifth place in the long jump. The 4×400m relay team recorded a season-best time for seventh place.
