📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Ranked Win! The men’s lacrosse team beat No. 7 Virginia 13-10. This was the second win over the Cavaliers in Richmond’s 12-season program history and its first win over a ranked opponent since 2022. Lucas Littlejohn led the team with four goals. 🥍 Read more about the victory.

🔼 The Start. The baseball team began its season with a series sweep over Navy. The Spiders won 2-1, 2-1 and 9-4. Esteban Rodriguez threw three scoreless frames in game one. Chase Topolski tossed 3.2 innings in game two and only allowed one run. The team had a huge sixth inning in game three, scoring five runs. Phil Bernstein scored three of the nine runs.

🔼 Senior Day Dub. The women’s basketball team beat Saint Louis 59-49 on Senior Day. Addie Budnik and Rachel Ullstrom led the team with 16 points each. The Spiders outpaced the Billikens 22-6 in the final frame. This is the women’s 12th straight win, and they improved to 22-5 overall and 13-1 in Atlantic 10 Conference play. 🏀 Here’s more about the win.

🔼 Lucky #7. The men’s basketball team beat Fordham for the seventh straight time in the series 70-66. Dusan Neskovic led the Spiders with 23 points and seven rebounds. Mikkel Tyne and Neskovic combined for 33 second-half points to lead the team to victory. 🏀  Here’s how they won.

🔼 Home Dub. The women’s lacrosse team beat Queens 15-8 in its home opener. This was the program’s sixth straight home opener win. Alexis Morton led the women with six points on four goals and two assists. 🥍 See the other players who scored.

🕷️ ONE BIG THING

Top 10. The track and field team competed in the Darius Dixon Memorial Invitational and had seven personal best marks and six top-10 race finishes. Cooper Groat won the 1k with a time of 2:25.40. The team also competed at the David Hemery Valentine Invitational. Morgan Elliot finished second in the 400-meters.
