📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Spiders Rule. The men’s basketball team had a huge lead against UNLV and ended up winning 82-65. The Spiders started the game scoring the first 11 points. The men finished with a season-high 60 percent from the field and made 9-14 three-point shots. This is the best three-point field goal percentage in more than a decade. Jordan King led the team with 21 points and was named to the Sunshine Slam All-Tournament Team. 🏀 Read more about the game here.

🔼 Planning ahead. To help student-athletes prepare for the workplace, Spider Performance and Development hosted a Junior Class Networking Dinner. Players learned how to interview, network and the proper etiquette to have at a dinner. 💼 See what else the Spider student-athletes learned here.

Dub Train. The men’s basketball team stands 24-2 when it comes to home games vs. non-conference opponents over the past couple of seasons. The team looks to improve its streak against Queens this weekend.

Impression Made. Only 30 football players in the NCAA FCS are on this award list, and our redshirt senior Tristan Wheeler is one of them. Wheeler has been named one of the finalists for the Buck Buchanan Award that’s given annually to the national defensive player of the year. He’s made 48 straight starts in 51 appearances as a linebacker. He started this season with 17 tackles against Morgan State and soon hit the 400 career tackle mark. 🏈 Read more about the award here.
