🔼 All the Details. The 2024-25 athletic year for the Spiders was a big one. The student-athletes had a 98% graduation success rate, which is tied for the 6th highest in Division I. The department won five conference championships, saw men’s lacrosse and women’s basketball earn their first NCAA Tournament wins and had the second-best finish in the LEARFIELD Director’s Cup in the last 19 years. 🕷️ Read about all of Richmond’s success.

Preseason training camp begins today! The Spiders will work towards a third straight conference title and a fourth consecutive playoff appearance. The 2025 team comprises 90 players from 17 states with 26 freshmen, 21 sophomores, 18 juniors, 14 seniors, eight fifth-year seniors and three graduate students. Summer Series. Women’s lacrosse player Charlotte Edwards has had a busy summer! Edwards had an internship in New York, traveled to Amsterdam, San Sebsatián and Nantucket and spent time at home in San Francisco. ☀️ Here’s more about her summer.
