Good morning, Spiders. We celebrate the end of the basketball season with huge honors. Women’s basketball head coach Aaron Roussell was named the Eastern College Athletic Conference Coach of the Year. Maggie Doogan was selected to the All-ECAC First Team. Learn more about their achievements here.

🔼 City Win. The women’s lacrosse team beat city rival VCU 10-8 on Wednesday. Abby Francioli reached a career milestone of 200 saves. Whitney Liebler led the team with a career-high six points. The Spiders are now 4-1 in conference play. 🥍 Read more about the win.

🔼 Midseason Honors. Inside Lacrosse named Jack Pilling and Hunter Smith to the 2025 Nike Lacrosse Midseason Media All-America Second Team. Pilling has collected 16 ground balls, caused nine turnovers and scored one goal so far this season. Smith has gathered 16 ground balls and caused 12 turnovers. 🥍 Here’s more about the honorees.

Track Stars. The Atlantic 10 Conference named two track athletes to weekly honors. Addie Cohen earned Co-Women’s Rookie of the Week. She was first in the 5k at the Fred Hardy Invitational. Molly Wise was named the Field Athlete of the Week. She won the long jump with a mark of 6.12m. 👟 Here’s more about the honorees.
