🔼 Caught the W. The Spiders ruled the web as they took down Gardner-Webb 80-53. Maggie Doogan got her fourth career double-double, leading the team with 25 points and 10 rebounds. The team loved the number seven as it had three seven-point runs to extend its lead. The women are now 2-1 for the season and 2-0 all-time against GWU. 🏀 Read more about the game here.

🔼 Season Finale. The football team plays its last regular season game tomorrow, and it’s going to be a big one. This is the Capital Cup Game Presented by C&F Bank, where the Spiders take on William & Mary. We stand at 7-3 overall, while the Tribe is 6-4. If we win, we will win a share of the CAA Championship. Creo qué… Which means “I think that” Gavin Creo is a beast! The Spider lacrosse player was just named to Inside Lacrosse’s Power 100 Freshmen Rankings. He sits at No. 62 and is one of two Atlantic 10 players to make the list. Creo comes from Rockville Centre, N.Y., where he was captain and MVP of his high school team.
