🔼 Shining Star. The Spiders took down Liberty with a 99-73 win Saturday, and one player stood out. Ally Sweeney recorded a career-high 11 points, went a perfect 4-4 from the field and 2-2 from beyond the arc. Because of her stellar performance, she was named the Atlantic 10 Conference Rookie of the Week. 🏀 Read more about Sweeney here.

🔼 Keep ‘em Coming. More and more awards are coming Tristan Wheeler and Aaron Trusler’s way. This time, Stats Perform named the two as Second Team All-Americans. Wheeler had a single-season career-high 121 tackles. Trusler averaged 41.5 yards per punt this season. 🏈 See more of the athlete’s stats here.

All Around Greatness. Two seniors on the cross country team have been recognized by the Atlantic-10 their performance on the course and in the classroom— Elizabeth Stockman and Madison Trippett. Both women were named to the A-10 Cross Country All-Academic team. Stockman is a Health Studies major and finished fourth place in the A-10 Cross Country Championships. Trippett is a Biology and Psychology double major who finished fifth place in the Championships. 🏃 Here’s more info about the award.
