📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Rollin’ Right Along. The women’s basketball team improved to 4-0 in conference play after beating Massachusetts 79-65. Rachel Ullstrom matched a career-high 26 points, including six three-pointers. She also led the team with eight rebounds and added two assists. Addie Budnik, Maggie Doogan, and Grace Townsend also scored in the double figures. The Spiders are still undefeated at home this season. They’ll be back in action on Sunday when they host Rhode Island at noon.

🔼  New Year, Same Spiders. The women’s track and field squad is opening up the 2024 portion of the season today! They’re kicking things off in Blacksburg at the Virginia Tech Invitational today at 2:30pm and tomorrow at 11am. Their last time out, Alicia Dawson won the long jump at the Liberty Kickoff and Madison Trippett took first with Elizabeth Stockman in second in the 3k.

Wait A Minute. The women’s basketball team defeated the Minutewomen in the Robins Center for the first time since 2017.

🕷️ ONE BIG THING

All-Star Cast. Two Richmond football players were named FCS Athletic Directors Association Academic All-Stars! Senior linebacker Tristan Wheeler and senior punter Aaron Trusler were two of eight players from the Coastal Athletic Association to receive the honors. Both players were named All-America last month after a trip to the playoffs.
